L2 Korean Breed Styling

For Enthusiasts & Aspiring Groomers

Take your grooming skills beyond the basics and learn the foundations of Korean-style pet grooming.

This course covers styling techniques for popular breeds including Teddy Poodles, Bichons, Maltese, Yorkshire Terriers, and Schnauzers, with a focus on facial balance, coat texture, breed-specific styling, and creating clean, natural-looking finishes.

L3 Korean Style Grooming Foundation Course

Start your grooming journey with a hands-on course designed to teach the fundamentals of Korean-style pet grooming.

From bathing and coat preparation to breed styling, hand scissoring, and complete grooming workflows, you’ll learn the skills needed to confidently groom from start to finish.

Day 1 — Grooming Basics & Safety

Get familiar with essential grooming tools, safe handling techniques, grooming table safety, reading canine body language, and understanding the complete grooming workflow.

Day 2 — Bathing Fundamentals

Learn proper bathing techniques, shampoo selection, coat-specific care, and the correct way to perform gland expression.

Day 3 — Blow Dry & Fluffing Techniques

Master drying direction, coat stretching, fluffing techniques, and common mistakes to avoid.

Day 4 — Nail, Ear & Hygiene Care

Learn nail trimming, ear cleaning, sanitary grooming, paw pad maintenance, and tear stain care.

Day 5 — De-matting & Coat Handling

Understand coat structure, safe de-matting techniques, coat maintenance, and handling different coat densities.

Day 6 — Hand Scissor Basics

Build confidence with scissors and clippers while learning basic body shaping, coat flow, and safe grooming techniques.

Day 7 — Teddy Face Styling

Learn the foundations of Korean-style teddy faces, facial proportions, nose line shaping, and creating soft expression.

Day 8 — Bichon Fluffy Styling

Explore Bichon head structure, volume building, and the signature Korean fluffy look.

Day 9 — Maltese & Yorkshire Styling

Learn coat flow management, silky coat presentation, facial detailing, and long coat maintenance.

Day 10 — Schnauzer Styling Basics

Practice classic Schnauzer styling, beard shaping, body lines, and balanced leg proportions.

Day 11 — Advanced Hand Scissoring

Refine hand scissoring techniques with a focus on structure, smooth transitions, and rounded finishing.

Day 12 — Handling Difficult Dogs

Learn low-stress grooming techniques, calming methods, and safe handling for anxious or uncooperative dogs.

Day 13 — Grooming Photography & Presentation

Discover simple photography techniques, before-and-after shots, and social media presentation for grooming work.

Day 14 — Full Grooming Practice

Put everything together by completing a full grooming session with instructor guidance.

Day 15 — Final Assessment & Portfolio Shoot

Complete your final grooming assessment, create portfolio images, receive feedback, and celebrate course completion.
